The construction combines stranded plain copper conductors, high-grade PVC insulation, an extruded PVC filler, galvanized flat steel wire armour (SWA), a counter-helical galvanized steel tape, and a tough black PVC outer sheath. By using flat steel wires rather than round wires, the cable distributes crushing forces over a wider surface area while maintaining significant tensile strength, ensuring uninterrupted electrical performance across utility and industrial networks.
